Join Menai Heritage and the Ramblers Cymru to celebrate the 7th anniversary of the opening of the Wales Coast Path.

We will be leading two guided walks along the Menai Strait. On the Menai Bridge Waterfront walk you will learn about crossings to the mainland by boat and bridge, and the development of Menai Bridge town post 1826 and its significant buildings and associated personalities. It will also look at the geology, pre-history, tidal and maritime facts and natural history of the area.

The Two Bridges walk will look at the history of the two bridges over the Menai Strait. You will also discover the Lion sculptures, once at the entrance to the railway tubes of the Britannia Bridge, and see a section of the original iron tube that formed the bridge.
