Take a Walk with a Qualified Guide along the Menai Strait and see the Historic Bridges and Town
Take a walk with Menai Heritage to explore the Menai Suspension Bridge, the Britannia Bridge and its lion sculptures, and the historic Menai Bridge waterfront. We can do walks for prearranged groups, in either Welsh or English, which can be tailored to special interests. Contact us to enquire.
Walks require a minumum of four people and cost £5 per adult (including up to three children per adult). Admission to our Bridges exhibition in the Telford Center is included if held during opening hours. Menai Heritage is a charity and all proceeds from these walks go towards supporting our work preserving the heritage and telling the story of the Menai Bridges area.
Covid-19 restrictions mean that we may need to limit the walks to a single group from one household or a set of households allowed to meet outdoors (an extended household), as per the Welsh Government guidelines in force at the time.
We occasionally have a series of regular guided walks along the Porthaethwy historic waterfront, the two bridges, and to the hidden lions of the Britannia Bridge. To see if any are available, and to book tickets, please visit https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/o/menai-heritage-30770554606.
