PRINCE’S PIER WAREHOUSE
The newly refurbished building opened at the end of April and over 100 people gathered to celebrate the completion of Phase 1 of this on-going project. One distinguished visitor said that ‘it was inspiring to see an entire community enthused by the leadership of engineer and Trust Chair Bob Daimond….the original bridges exhibition is now an accredited museum and will flourish in its new home…. this is about an entire community understanding the contribution that engineering of the highest quality has made to its very existence….’ We still need £3000.00 for the community contribution towards the cost of Phase 1 – 600 more £5.00 notes please!

EVENTS AT PRINCE’S PIER
The warehouse has been in use already for displays and events. It will be the venue for various activities over the summer including Anglesey Marine Week and the SeaFood Festival. Watch out for announcements in the Press and Social Media. Come along and see the Ynys Gorad Goch boat, the Web of Iron and North Wales Postal History Exhibitions. During the Raft Race, many people came in to find out about getting involved with Menai Heritage. Do contact us if you are interested.
