You can find the home of Menai Heritage, the Thomas Telford Centre, on Mona Road, Menai Bridge, just 300m from the Anglesey end of the Suspension Bridge. It is across from the Waitrose car park. You can find it on the map below. The building has steps to the front entrance but is accessible by wheelchair from the rear.
The newly refurbished Prince’s Pier building is on the waterfront off Water Street (just down the road from the Liverpool Arms).

From the A55 exit at junction 9 and follow the signs towards Bangor, then Menai Bridge. This will take you over the Menai Suspension Bridge. Go straight through the roundabout at the end of the bridge to Mona Road; the Telford Centre will be just past the church, on the right. Some parking is available in front of the centre. More is available in a pay and display car park 100m down the road at the Coed Cyrnol car park.
To reach Prince’s Pier turn right at the roundabout at the end of the bridge, onto Telford Road, and go to the town centre, Uxbridge Square, where Water Street is on the right. There is limited parking on Water Street, but the town pay and display car park is just off Uxbridge Square, behind the Bulkeley Arms. To walk to Prince’s Pier from there go down Water Street, past the Liverpool Arms, a row of shops, a boat yard and a wall on the left, and a terrace of flats on the right. Then turn left into the drive next to the boat slipway.
The main rail station is Bangor, on the Holyhead line. From there you can reach Menai Bridge by bus on the 62, X4, 42, 43, 47 and 57 services. The closest bus stop to the Telford Centre is on Telford Road, shortly after the roundabout at the end of the Menai Bridge. From there walk back up Telford Road to the roundabout, then turn right; it is a five minute walk. Also from that stop you can get to Prince’s Pier by crossing the road, turning left and walking to Chapel Street, then walking down that to the end and turning left.
The full list of local buses from around the island that stop in Menai Bridge include the X4, 4, 4X, 4A, 42, 43, 44, 44A, 47, 53, 57, 58, 62 and 63.
